The Wellbeing Club is a community support group organised by the practice for the patients of the surgery. The club is a relaxed and informal event held in the afternoon on a quarterly basis throughout the year, normally at St Peter’s Church Hall in Fremington.
Each club focuses on a different subject relating to health and wellbeing. Previous topics include 'live wise – age well' and 'all about antibiotics'. Each club hosts experts and speakers from various organisations relating to the subject including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and community group members.
There is an opportunity to meet, chat and ask questions from the speakers at the club as well as meet and mingle with other members of the local Fremington community.
Our next Wellbeing Club at St Peter's Church Hall, Fremington is on Wednesday 13th June at 1.30pm.
We will be focusing on Dementia and our experts & speakers will include:
Dementia Support Worker
Dementia Friends – Alzheimers UK
Devon and Cornwall Police
Devon Fire and Rescue
Fremington Practice Nurse
It's a great opportunity to come along and listen to the help, advice and support available to you in the local community for those living with and affected by Dementia.
